This church project consisted of a 2,000 seat sanctuary and classroom building for a large, expanding church in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. It is within a 40-acre campus master plan that includes educational, residential, and religious structures. The idea was to create a new image in a campus setting. The new sanctuary was designed to fit into the pine forest hill and, with the trapezoidal roof form, continue the form of the landscape. Large windows in the sanctuary allowed a connection to the rolling landscape.
