This new master plan involved a design for a new world-class city of 500,000 which will be a satellite of Jakarta, Indonesia. The project is intended as a "City of the Arts" so that major open spaces feature public art, community recreation and performing arts facilities, museums and entertainment complexes. The major design feature is the north/south City Center area that contains most major city-scale activities, such as major employment, shopping, educational, cultural and recreational facilities serviced by double boulevards, and a mass transit system.
