RNM DESIGN has undertaken master planning for a 194-acre+ site near the town of Desert Hot Springs. The master plan calls for a residential/resort planned community tucked into the canyon, with attached and detached residences clusterd within the more level portions of the hillside terrain. A central drainage course will serve as a naturalized trail corridor with links to a trail system planned throughout the community. A former quarry will be restored as a lake, with a hotel/restaurant/spa and recreation area planned along its shores.
