The Vista Verde resort community includes 20 second homes on 11 HA; each lot averaging 4,050 m² in size. This eco-friendly project includes many sustainable design principles such as - units oriented to prevailing winds for optimal cooling, permeable driving surfaces for water percolation, on-site water retention pond for irrigation, organic gardening and compost area, heavily vegetated for shade and cooler temperatures, pedestrian pathway network, soft-bottom, naturalized drainageways along perimeter roads, and swales between sculpted landforms for off-site drainage.
