This is a design for a new world-class city of 500,000 outside Jakarta, Indonesia. The project is intended to be built as a “City of the Arts” so that major open space areas feature public art, community recreation, performing arts facilities, museums and entertainment complexes. The major design feature is the north/south City Center area containing most major city scale activities, such as major employment, shopping, educational, cultural and recreational facilities, serviced by a double boulevard and a mass transit system.
