This project is planned as a Transit Oriented Development adjacent to the Metrolink/Amtrak downtown station. The masterplan includes Retail, Live/Work housing, Mid-rise housing, Office and Educational uses, including Maric College, which has located their Riverside campus to a former theater building. The regional bus facility is restructuring the local station in this district as well. The synergy of existing adaptive reuse of former industrial buildings, along with new construction is intended to create a true “urban” neighborhood in this downtown setting.
