The houses reflect American architectural styles found throughout the City of Encinitas. The homes are designed with four-sided architecture; materials wrap around all sides of each house. To ensure that the three-car garages don't dominate the street scene, RNM used a variety of design solutions, including screen walls, trellises, and increased setbacks to mitigate the garages' impact.
